INTO THE LIGHT – in the series EYE on Art
Eye Filmmuseum restored and digitized several films by Janica from the EYE collection. EYE also collaborated on the production of a DVD, which makes a selection of works by Draisma available for the first time. Reason to put her films and the book in the spotlight in EYE on Art.
During this evening the first, signed and exclusive edition of INTO THE LIGHT, a visual oeuvre book in English, written and compiled by Janica Draisma will be launched too. In this rich and illustrated work Janica expounds her broad oeuvre, her development as a filmmaker, photographer and artist, as well as her sources of inspiration and the influence of the world around her on her work. With a foreword by Sandra den Hamer.
